Willy Wonka Dance

WHAT IS IT?

Willy Wonka Dance – a magical evening for the whole family.
In 2019 the UWCSEA Community were invited to buy their golden tickets and dress in their best costumes for an evening of magical candylicious fun. It was a sell-out event at both campuses, with over 400 children and parents in attendance, raising an impressive $100,000.

Behind the scenes; PACE volunteers worked for months to bring the event to life. We are so grateful for the amazing, generous community of students, staff, and parents that make up UWCSEA and make these projects possible. We couldn’t have done it without them.

This event was vital in allowing PACE to continue to help children to access education by raising enough funds to build a Middle School in Myanmar and to run the PACE overseas Nutrition Programme for scholars in the Philippines.

It was an extremely fun dance. We got to meet our friends and dance and hang out with them as well as all the parents. I loved the photo booth with all the props and still have the photos in my room. I can’t wait until our next dance

The success of the Dance showed our community’s deep commitment to helping others. Families came together in support of those in need, a wonderful example of bringing the UWC mission to life.
