I choose Kuma Cambodia because it helps children have opportunities like me to learn, also Cambodia has been through war just like Ukraine.
Putins Path to Peace!
Once upon a time, there was a man with no empathy, who destroyed peace, lives, and hospitals. Growing up, we are taught there are consequences to our actions, we are to have empathy for the people and world around us. Like when my mum says, Freya! Be kind to your sister! What if some people are never taught this?
At school, I was asked to think about what superpower I could use to help the people of Ukraine. I thought of superhero movies, time travel, giant sci-fi weapons, alien invasions, controlling the weather, or people’s minds. At last, I thought of telekinesis and it’s always been one of my favourite powers, ask any of my friends! How could I use this power to help Ukraine?
I decided to use it like this. I would take Mr. Putin on a journey to see what his actions have done to the people of Ukraine. There would be lots of stops on the journey, as there are lots of things to see.
The first stop is to a school in Ukraine, it is now piles of rubble. I would ask Mr. Putin to tell the children why they can no longer go to school. Next, I would bring him to a hospital in Ukraine, I would show him all the soldiers that were hurt horribly and ask him why they had to fight. After this I would take him to a bomb shelter where lots of families who are hungry and scared are, I would ask him when these people can go home to their families and pets. My last stop in Ukraine would be at an airport, it has been destroyed. I would ask Mr. Putin how will the people of Ukraine be able to rebuild this. On our way home from Ukraine I would stop at a refugee camp. There is a grandmother there who looks after her daughter’s baby. I would ask Mr. Putin one final question, why can’t this baby be with her mother.
The awesome thing about this superpower is that it can come true. Mr. Putin could see the consequences of his actions if only he would open his eyes.
