SOLAR FAR EAST – “REFUGEE”
My donation is going to Solar for East: I would like to choose solar for east’s local service. I would love to contribute to a solar panel that helps the CO2 emissions!
Refugee
Swerving through the smoke, she felt adrenaline surge through her veins. Missiles crashed into the ground. Flames engulfed her home. Darkness swallowed life.
The cries of misery and screams of terror couldn’t drown out the deafening roar of the explosions, each one more powerful than the next. Her heart ached for her family, her neighbours, her people. Why were innocent people in danger?
Eyes watering with anguish, she clenched her fist and emerged from the ashes. All of a sudden – her body illuminated.
Her arms stretched to surround her people, twisting and turning through the crevices and trenches. With her eyes, she blazed a bubble of protection for everyone, offering refuge to her community. She flung the 500kg missiles aside and carved each crater into a garden of flowers with her hands. Wherever there was destruction and fire, she replaced it with seeds and trees. She was bringing the ‘life’ back to the darkness.
Sheltering her community within her protective bubble, she provided a safe haven for her community. She was their guardian, their beacon of hope, their angel. She provided reassurance and safety to her people, bringing light into their dark world.
Every day, the world turns a blind eye to the constant suffering and struggles of asylum seekers, migrants and displaced families. Their cries for help go UNHEARD by powerful governments.
She wanted to change the world, mend the broken and provide hope to those in fear.
She used her superpower of WELL-BEING. Her superpower offered comfort, support and peace amidst the challenges of her people.
Refugees around the world struggle with finding jobs, paying for shelter and housing, and giving their children important education, all while dealing with racism and discrimination. With her superpowers, she is able to overcome these issues by giving her people a feeling of home and heart. She is here to UNITE the world with peace.
